Changelog

What's new

Everything below is live in the dashboard and the API. Newest first.

v1.4.0New
STTEngine

Transcripts from audio

  • engine=stt is an opt-in path that transcribes a video’s audio. It returns the same document formats and uses duration-based audio pricing.
  • The extract console gains an ENGINE field (CAPTIONS or AUDIO (STT)), and an audio-sourced result says so in the response and the status line.
  • Caption reads are unchanged: engine defaults to captions, so existing integrations see nothing new.
v1.3.0
APIKeys

Self-serve API keys

  • Mint and revoke API keys from the dashboard (KEYS) — no operator in the loop, up to 20 active keys per account.
  • A key is shown exactly once; only its hash is stored. Revoking one stops it authenticating.
  • Clerk sessions keep working without a key: a key is for scripts and servers, not for this browser.
v1.2.0
DashboardJobs

The dashboard becomes a product

  • Overview with this period's credits, plan limits, account identity and a job lookup.
  • Extract console: four formats, download and copy, timing, and a browser-local history.
  • Job pages: status, credits charged, per-item results, and paging for large batches.
  • Sign in with Clerk or with an API key; the gateway sees one account either way.
v1.1.0
AuthClerk

Clerk sign-in, end to end

  • Clerk session tokens are verified by the gateway against the instance's own keys and issuer.
  • The first sign-in provisions a free account; later sign-ins reuse it, and a plan change stays an operator action.
  • No key ever reaches the browser: the site mints a short-lived gateway token per request.
